The sea is my second habitat. I always wanted to dive and went ahead to complete my Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications from PADI in 2011. For my own safety, I did the Rescue Diver course and EFR certification.

At present I have over 80 dives logged and I dive mainly to shoot underwater life/aquatic life behavior so that people who do not dive can get some exposure.

I also completed the following specialties:

  • Deep Diver Specialty
  • Enriched Air Diver Specialty

I am not afraid to encounter different species which live underwater and have always been amazed to encounter sharks.

I have had 3 shark dives in my life and all of them were exciting.

Curiosity, encounters, high quality videos are my motivating factors for diving. I started underwater photography with a Canon Powershot G-12 and upgraded to a Nikon D70s with Ikelite Dive Case and Inon Strobes for lighting. Now I own a GoPro 4 Black with 2 Sola 2000 Lumens Flood lights to shoot videos. I am a great fan of the following companies.
